Real-time Trading

For each instrument, the user can define as many alerts as desired from the following types:
- Price reaches a target
- Price breaks above or below a target
- Breakout of a resistance or support level
- Intraday volume exceeds a target
- Percentage price change exceeds target relative to open or previous close
- Detection of a user-defined signal or rule, based on a fixed periodicity.
- Real-time volume alert system for detecting abnormally high volumes traded at market open or during the session.
- Broker Simulator for manual order execution. Open positions are tracked in the price charts. A trading portfolio updated in real-time records all operations performed.
- Order entry from charts or order books to Lynx and Interactive Brokers.
- Automated Trading from a real-time chart. A strategy developed in backtesting
can be executed in real-time, with order entry in simulation or live mode. Each price
chart executes the selected strategy independently of other charts.
A command button starts and stops automated trading.
Evaluation of strategy signals occurs either at a fixed frequency (1 to 60 seconds) or at the close of a bar based on the periodicity chosen in the chart.
Signals and open positions are displayed on the chart, as well as potential stop order levels. Unrealized P&L is displayed in real-time, along with the percentage change between the last price and the average cost basis of the position. - Tick Flow feature to detect in real-time and at a glance the few instruments
that suddenly experience a high number of transactions, signaling the start of a strong upward
or downward move.

Market Screening and Trading Assistance Tools
