Continuous Price Curve
Representing the price of a security as a curve is the simplest and most natural type of chart.
Over a chosen time period, price points are connected by straight line segments:
- close price (most common case)
- or open price
- or highest price
- or lowest price
- or median (equal to the average of the high and low)
- or typical (equal to the average of the high, low, and close)
